Javier Morgade received the B.Sc and M.Sc. Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Basque Country, Spain, in 2006 and 2009 respectively. He joined the Dpt. Of Electronics and Telecommunications of the University of the Basque Country (Spain) in 2007.
Within the TSR (Signal Processing and Radio communications) research Group, he has been involved in a wide list of research projects in the field of broadcasting working in the development and evaluation of broadcast technologies like DVB-T/H/T2 and DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale). Since 2010 he is granted by the E/J fellowship of the Basque Government (Spain) to carry out his PhD Thesis in the field of next generation Broadcast System. During the first quarter of 2011 he served as guest researcher in the Institut für Nachrichtentechnik-IfN (TU-Braunschweig).
